Lil Wayne abruptly canceled his Toronto concert at Budweiser Stage on August 12, 2025, just one hour before doors opened due to “unforeseen illness.
” The show was part of his “Tha Carter VI Tour” celebrating over 20 years of Carter series music, with Tyga and other acts supporting.
Wayne’s team stated he “loves putting on nothing short of the best performances” and a new date will be announced soon. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date.
The nature of the illness was not disclosed.
