Manchester United have identified six alternatives to Brighton’s Carlos Baleba, including Ruben Amorim’s former Sporting CP captain.
United made a €40 million bid for Danish midfielder Morten Hjulmand but face competition from Juventus. Amorim is reportedly “pushing” to complete a €140m deal for Baleba before the transfer deadline.
Hjulmand wants to reunite with Amorim, who praised him as “fantastic.” However, United may struggle to afford Hjulmand’s price tag.
