Diddy Trial Day 18: Ex-Girlfriend ‘Jane Doe’ Resumes Emotional Testimony, Defense Moves for Mistrial

Day 18 of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ federal trial took a tense turn as his ex-girlfriend, testifying under the pseudonym Jane Doe, returned to the witness stand for the third time to continue detailing her disturbing experiences with the hip-hop mogul.

Diddy, 55, is currently facing serious federal charges, including racketeering conspiracysex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has been behind bars since his arrest in September, with multiple bail requests denied.

Jane Resumes Testimony Amid Tensions

During Friday’s testimony (Day 17), Jane revealed the existence of a “love contract” between her and Diddy after a “make-up” trip to Turks and Caicos — part of what prosecutors argue was a coercive pattern. She testified that Diddy agreed to pay her a $10,000 monthly allowance and cover her rent after she moved into a property he secured.

When asked who currently pays her rent, Jane confirmed: “Combs is still paying it.”

Claims of Abuse, Coercion, and Trauma

The court was visibly shaken as Jane recounted a harrowing 18-hour “freak-off” — a term used to describe Diddy’s alleged drug-fueled sexual parties with third parties. She testified that she was led to believe it would be a private date night, but Diddy introduced another “entertainer,” and the event spiraled into an all-night ordeal.

“I just went through all that and was feeling terrible that he was going to leave me alone,” she said, breaking down in tears.

Jane added that she used drugs during these events because she didn’t want to fully process the reality of what was happening. At one point, she admitted feeling “obligated” to perform, fearing Diddy would cut off her housing support if she refused.

Defense Pushes for Mistrial

The defense team, visibly frustrated with the prosecution’s handling of Jane’s testimony, motioned for a mistrial, though it’s unclear whether the judge will grant it. Defense attorneys argue that the case has been marred by prejudicial media coverage and emotional manipulation of the jury.

What’s Next?

With Jane’s testimony ongoing and the defense growing more aggressive in its objections, Day 19 is expected to be pivotal. Prosecutors appear determined to paint a picture of systemic control, emotional dependency, and coercive exploitation, while Diddy’s team insists the relationship was consensual and mutually beneficial.

This trial continues to draw national attention as the music mogul’s fall from grace unfolds under the weight of explosive allegations and courtroom drama.
