Chris Hughes’s love life has taken a surprising turn — and so has that of his ex-girlfriend, professional golfer Annabel Dimmock, who just announced she’s expecting her first child.
The 28-year-old sports star shared the joyful news on Instagram over the weekend, posting a relaxed poolside photo showing off her baby bump in a pink crop top and denim shorts. With her legs dipped in a swimming pool and a tiny pair of pink baby shoes by her side, Annabel captioned the photo:
“New rookie on tour coming soon” alongside heart emojis.
Fans quickly filled the comment section with warm wishes and congratulations. “Omg congratulations so happy for you,” one follower gushed. Another added, “You’re gonna make the best mum.”
Annabel’s announcement comes just as her ex, former Love Island star Chris Hughes, has gone public with his blossoming relationship with JoJo Siwa, whom he met while filming Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year.
Annabel and Chris dated for 14 months, from 2020 until their split in 2022. At the time, Chris admitted the breakup hit him hard:
“I always struggle a bit when it’s fresh out of a relationship… but I’m in a good place now.”
Following their split, Annabel briefly dated Alfie Best Jnr, son of multimillionaire entrepreneur Alfie Best. Their relationship began in 2023, but she’s kept her private life fairly low-key since then — making this pregnancy announcement all the more surprising and celebrated.
Meanwhile, Chris’s new romance with JoJo Siwa, 22, has been heating up. The pair formed a close bond in the Celebrity Big Brother house, despite JoJo being in a relationship with Kath Ebbsat the time. The dynamic shifted dramatically when Kath later claimed JoJo dumped her at the show’s wrap party.
Since then, JoJo and Chris have been spotted vacationing together in Mexico — even sharing a kiss in a pool — and later confirmed the romance when Chris posted a snap of them together in bed. JoJo gushed about Chris during a recent interview on Lorraine, joking about his charm and how he once gifted her discount flowers:
“He’s the best man… the flowers exist in a blender bottle. It’s hilarious!”
With Annabel embracing motherhood and Chris stepping into a headline-grabbing new relationship, both exes seem to be moving forward — just in very different directions.
