Georgina Rodriguez is stepping out of the spotlight — at least when it comes to her hit Netflix reality show I Am Georgina. The glamorous partner of football legend Cristiano Ronaldo has confirmed there will be no Season 4 of the wildly successful series, despite the show pulling in an eye-popping £22 million across its three-season run.
Speaking with Vogue Arabia, the 31-year-old model and influencer opened up about the emotional toll the series took on her:
“It has been a lot of work and requires so much effort… At the moment, I do not plan to continue with the reality show.”
I Am Georgina gave viewers an inside look at Georgina’s jaw-dropping lifestyle — from private jets and couture fittings to heartwarming family moments — tracing her inspiring transformation from a humble shop assistant in Madrid to a global icon. And the world tuned in. The show soared into the Top 10 most-watched shows in 46 countries, turning Georgina into a reality TV queen.
Despite the glitter and glamour, Georgina — who also served as executive producer — made it clear that filming wasn’t all luxury:
“It has been the most important and large-scale project that I have done so far… but it also took so much effort.”
Her decision to step away comes amid renewed speculation about her relationship with Ronaldo. Though no wedding has ever been officially confirmed, the couple has frequently dropped hints. Ronaldo has called Georgina his “wife” multiple times, most recently in a public speech and several Instagram posts — sparking will-they-won’t-they wedding rumours all over again.
Fans of the show will recall Georgina’s candid moments, including her hilarious confession about getting lost in Cristiano’s mansion:
“Sometimes it would take me half an hour to get back from the living room because I didn’t know the way. It was so big.”
Since their love story began at a Gucci store in 2016, Georgina has become much more than “Ronaldo’s girlfriend.” She’s now a major influencer, mother of five (two biological and three stepchildren), fashion entrepreneur, and pop culture phenomenon.
Even with the cameras turned off, Georgina Rodriguez isn’t going anywhere. She’s just choosing to take a breather — and maybe live a little more of her incredible life off-screen.
