Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P and one-half of the former P-Square duo, has publicly addressed recent song theft allegations made by his twin brother and ex-bandmate, Paul Okoye, aka Rudeboy. The claims came after Rudeboy accused Mr P and their former producer, Vampire, of releasing a song titled “Winning,” which he asserts was originally written and intended for his own upcoming album.

In response, Mr P clarified that the song was co-written by himself and Calypso60, emphasizing that it’s impossible to “steal” his own creation. On Instagram, he expressed gratitude to the song’s collaborators, tagging Vampire and co-producer Goldswarm, and asked his brother to cease the negativity.

Mr P wrote, “Person no dey thief him own property! It is well! Thank you, @iam_vampire_official, for the clarification.” He further urged fans to keep streaming his latest single, Winning, saying, “Allow me to enjoy my new single, WINNING, in peace. Enough of the negativity!”

Winning is now available on all major music platforms.
