Victor Osimhen shone for Galatasaray, scoring twice in their thrilling 3-2 Europa League win over Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday night.
The Turkish side started strong, with Yunus Akgun opening the scoring in the sixth minute. Tottenham quickly responded, with William Lankshear equalizing in the 18th minute. However, Osimhen reclaimed Galatasaray’s lead with a stunning strike just before the half-hour mark and doubled it six minutes later, putting the hosts up 3-1.
Tottenham fought back as Dominic Solanke scored in the 69th minute, narrowing the gap to 3-2. Osimhen, who has been in exceptional form this season, was substituted for Kerem Demirbay with 10 minutes remaining. He now boasts five goals and three assists in eight appearances for Galatasaray across all competitions.
