Bunnie Xo is getting candid about her struggles amid her divorce from Jelly Roll, admitting that while she likes to present a strong, upbeat exterior in the wake of the split, the truth isn’t all smiles.
The 45-year-old podcaster took to TikTok on September 4 to reflect on a recent “sad girl day,” explaining that her usual “sparkle” isn’t always genuine. “I would just rather have people looking at me like, ‘Oh she’s so happy,’ but that’s not really the truth right now,” she said.
She added that this time is “just a season” and that she is “so aware” she is going through this in front of the entire world. “I’m tired of pretending like I’m okay when I’m not,” she admitted.
Bunnie and Jelly Roll’s divorce was first reported in June 2026 after eight years of marriage. The couple, who tied the knot in 2016, released a joint statement at the time, saying, “We love each other and deeply care for each other,” but acknowledged they had “decided it’s best for both of us to take a little bit of space” while asking for privacy.
