Future is already looking ahead. The Atlanta rap legend thanked fans for The Real Me’s No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200, writing, “Thanks for the #1 album. I’m always super grateful for the consistent love. 1000% this next one for you.”
The Real Me, released July 10, became Future’s 12th career chart-topper, moving him past Eminem’s 11 No. 1 albums and into third place among rappers with the most Billboard 200 No.1s. The 22-track solo album delivered 131,000 equivalent album units in its opening week and features no guest appearances. Now Future appears ready to follow it up with another project, sharing a studio photo on Instagram alongside the grateful message. The tease has fans speculating whether they’ll get a second Pluto project this year.
This would mark a return to Future’s prolific mixtape-era pace, though he previously skipped releasing any project in 2025. The Real Me also included the previously released single “Radio” and was described by Future himself as the “album of the century”. With the album still fresh and no release date set for the next project, Future’s gratitude is clear, he’s not done giving fans music yet.
