Khloe Kardashian is done pretending her look is all natural. The 41-year-old reality star is opening up about why she’s finally being honest about her cosmetic enhancements, and her reasoning is refreshingly straightforward. After years of speculation and rumors, she’s decided to own every procedure she’s had done, and she’s making no apologies for it.
The moment of truth came a year ago when a stranger online started dictating everything he thought she had done to her face. “If I did, I would totally say that. I don’t have a problem with it,” she told People magazine. “But I also want people to know, not that anyone thinks this is all natural, but it’s not. There is maintenance involved.”
Khloe admitted that public criticism used to sting. “It did use to bother me when people were saying I’ve had 12 face transplants,” she said on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast in 2022. “I was like, ‘Oh, my God, I have?’ That’s crazy.” She explained that it didn’t just bother her, it offended her. She couldn’t figure out why people thought she had undergone multiple major surgeries.
The Good American founder listed everything after a cosmetic doctor analyzed her transformation. She’s had a nose job, laser hair removal, Botox, Sculptra in her cheek where she had a tumor removed, Softwave laser skin tightening, and collagen baby threads under her chin. She admitted to filler in the past but noted, “I hear it never goes away, so I’m sure it’s still there but calmed down.”
Khloe said her shift toward transparency came from wanting to free herself from the exhausting cycle of comparison. “We’ve lived in an era where, at least me, I’m so used to comparing myself aesthetically to others, and that gets so exhausting,” she told People. “I’ve tried to remove myself mentally from that type of energy, to free myself.”
The reality star also noted that her weight loss of 80 pounds contributed significantly to her changed appearance. She credited the results to slow, steady progress with her trainer. “In 2025, there are many other things we can do before surgery, but when it’s time, and if I choose to, I know some great doctors,” she said.
