Dua Lipa and Callum Turner are giving fans an intimate look at their luxury wedding in Sicily. The pop superstar shared a carousel of dreamy photos from their June 6 celebration at the historic Villa Valguarnera in Palermo.
The couple, who first tied the knot in a low-key London civil ceremony on May 31, pulled out all the stops for their Italian extravaganza. The three-day celebration reportedly cost £1.5 million.
Lipa stunned in a custom Chanel haute couture gown, handcrafted at the ateliers at 31 Rue Cambon. The bejewelled, sleeveless and backless dress featured a six-metre veil and white feather detailing, adding an extravagant texture to the design. Turner complemented his bride in a custom Louis Vuitton suit. For the London civil ceremony, Lipa had worn a Schiaparelli skirt suit. Celebrated fashion photographer David Sims captured the dreamy images.
The couple’s luxury wedding unfolded at Villa Valguarnera, a prestigious 18th-century mansion in Palermo often described as “Little Versailles”. The venue is currently owned by writer Vittoria Alliata di Villafranca, known for translating The Lord of the Rings into Italian. An insider called the celebration the “wedding of the year,” comparing it to the iconic wedding scene from The Godfather.
The guest list brought together music, fashion, and film royalty. Attendees included Elton John, Charli XCX, and Donatella Versace . Photos shared by Lipa show the couple popping champagne, sharing a dance, and gazing lovingly at each other beneath her flowing veil. The couple captioned the post simply: “Mr & Mrs”.
