A terrifying daylight attack unfolded at Rihanna’s Beverly Hills mansion on Sunday when a woman unleashed a hail of gunfire at the property, striking the home multiple times with an AR-15 rifle attack. The singer was inside her residence at the time but escaped the incident physically unharmed, leaving law enforcement to piece together a motive for the brazen act. The suspect, a 30-year-old woman, was apprehended roughly 30 minutes later, booked on suspicion of attempted murder with bail set at $10 million.

Just after 1:15 p.m., the quiet neighborhood just north of Beverly Hills was shattered by the sound of rapid gunfire. A woman inside a white Tesla parked across the street from the colonial-style mansion began firing an AR-15-style rifle. Police dispatch audio captured the urgency of the moment, with reports indicating that approximately 7 to 10 rounds were fired toward the home. One bullet penetrated the exterior wall of the residence, while four to five rounds struck the property’s front gate, leaving visible holes.

Following the barrage, the white Tesla fled the scene, heading south on Coldwater Canyon Drive. However, the suspect’s freedom was short-lived. Officers, armed with a detailed description of both the vehicle and the suspect, who had braided hair and was wearing a cream-colored blouse, located the car in a Sherman Oaks shopping center parking lot. The 30-year-old woman was taken into custody without further incident, and the weapon was recovered.

While the physical damage to the home was clear, the emotional toll was deeply personal. A source close to the family confirmed that Rihanna was home during the shooting and that everyone is “doing okay.” Her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, was not at the residence at the time of the AR-15 rifle attack. The couple shares three young children, making the incident an alarming security scare that has sent shockwaves through their inner circle.

This is not the first time the Grammy-winning artist has faced a security breach at her home. In 2018, a man named Eduardo Leon jumped a fence and broke into a different Rihanna property in the Hollywood Hills. He remained inside the home for approximately 12 hours before being discovered by an assistant. He later pleaded no contest to stalking charges. This latest incident, however, represents a dangerous escalation in severity.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s elite Robbery-Homicide Division has taken over the investigation, a standard procedure for high-profile cases. As of now, the motive for the shooting remains unknown, and authorities have not released any information about a possible connection between the suspect and the singer. The investigation is active and ongoing as the community and fans await answers.
