The Mercedes-Benz Places Binghatti City Dubai project was officially announced on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, marking a monumental expansion of the partnership between the luxury automotive giant and Binghatti Developers. With a total investment value of AED 30 billion ($8.2 billion), the development is being hailed as the world’s first “branded city.” Located in the prestigious Meydan area, this master-planned community represents a significant step beyond standalone residential towers into full-scale urban development.
Spanning over 10 million square feet, the Mercedes-Benz Places Binghatti City Dubai masterplan is designed as a “city within a city.” The multi-tower district will integrate luxury residential units with a comprehensive urban ecosystem.
The Mercedes-Benz Places Binghatti City Dubai announcement follows the success of the duo’s initial collaboration, a 65-story tower in Downtown Dubai currently under construction. For Binghatti, this project is a historic milestone as it represents the developer’s first-ever fully master-planned community. Muhammad Binghatti, Chairman of Binghatti Developers, and Mathias Geisen of Mercedes-Benz Group AG finalized the agreement at the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart, emphasizing a shared vision for “elevated living” and architectural precision.
As the Mercedes-Benz Places Binghatti City Dubai project prepares for its official launch on January 14, 2026, it is already being positioned as one of the most ambitious real estate ventures in the Middle East. By blending the prestige of the Mercedes-Benz brand with large-scale urban planning, the project aims to create a self-sustained destination where luxury, innovation, and community converge. This “branded city” concept is expected to set a new global benchmark for the real estate industry, further solidifying Dubai’s reputation as a hub for record-breaking architectural innovation.
