Leeds United celebrated their Premier League return with a narrow 1-0 victory over Everton at Elland Road on Monday, with Lukas Nmecha scoring a controversial late penalty.
The newly-promoted side dominated possession and created numerous chances in front of a jubilant home crowd.
Everton handed a debut to Manchester City loanee Jack Grealish in the second half, but he was unable to inspire a comeback for the Toffees.
The perfect start gives Leeds lift-off as they begin life back in the top flight after their promotion.
