“Come Out, Mommy!” – Lindsay Lohan’s Son Thought She Was Trapped Inside the TV

Lindsay Lohan’s two-year-old son, Luai, had a hilariously innocent reaction to seeing his mom on television — he genuinely thought she was stuck inside the screen.

“Mommy, Come Out!”

During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday (July 28), Lindsay, 39, shared the adorable moment that left everyone laughing.

“This morning, he was with my in-laws while my husband and I were doing Good Morning America, and he was like, ‘Mommy, come out! Mommy!’”

“He thought I was trapped in the TV.”

The Mean Girls star admitted she’s beginning to feel nervous now that her son is starting to become more aware of her public life.

“Now that he’s getting older and more aware, I’m kind of scared. I don’t want him to get confused.”

Fallon Sends a Message to Luai

Jimmy Fallon sweetly reassured little Luai through the camera, saying:

“Mommy’s fine. Mommy’s safe. Mommy says ‘Hi!’ We’re good, we’re happy, everything’s great.”

A Movie for Luai? Herbie: Fully Loaded

When asked which of her films she’d like to show her son first, Lindsay had a clear choice:

“Herbie: Fully Loaded — because it’s cars and fun!”

She noted that although Luai is still very young, he’s already picking up on her phrases.

“I have this thing where I’m like, ‘Luai, don’t do that.’ And this morning, before I even said it, he said, ‘Don’t do that, Luai,’ and looked at me. I was like — oh my God — he’s mocking me.”

Life as a Mom: Fast-Paced and Fulfilling

Lindsay, who shares Luai with husband Bader Shammas, also gave a glimpse into the everyday chaos of toddler parenting.

“He runs! Fast. Out of the house. He’s like, ‘Outside!’ Gone.”

And while she’s not quite facing the Freaky Friday-style teenage years just yet, she knows that stage will come.

Reflecting on motherhood back in March 2024, Lindsay said:

“I want to do things that my son can see. But I also want to do things that inspire me.”

“It’s a learning process — I’m having a different go at it, figuring out what I want to do and how I want to do it.”

Looks like Lindsay Lohan is embracing her new chapter with humor, love, and a toddler-sized dose of reality.
