After taking time off to welcome her second child, Hollyoaks favourite Jorgie Porter is officially making a comeback to the hit E4 soap — and she’s hinting that her return will be anything but ordinary.
The 37-year-old actress, known for her fiery role as Theresa McQueen, confirmed to OK! Magazinethat she’s wrapping up her maternity leave and heading back to the village — but with a twist.
“Yes, when my maternity is finished I’m going back. Something really special is happening when I go back, which I can’t give away, but it’s exciting,” Jorgie teased.
Life After Baby No. 2
Jorgie and her fiancé Ollie Piotrowski welcomed their daughter Peony just seven months ago. The couple are already parents to 2-year-old Forest, and it seems their family is now officially complete.
“We have definitely decided that’s it. Ollie is getting the snip – he needs to do it,” she said bluntly. “I don’t want to miss any more moments than I already do with my two. So no, we are happy and very blessed.”
While parenting two young children is no walk in the park, Jorgie described baby Peony as “a very easy baby so far,” while joking that Forest has inherited her flair for drama:
“Forest is definitely a tad dramatic, like me. He’s a bit bossy and so am I – but you can’t have two bosses, so I’m navigating that.”
A Double Life On and Off Screen
Returning to Hollyoaks is more than just a job for Jorgie — it’s a mental shift.
“I feel like I go into a different life on set and don’t talk about the kids as much. It’s like a double life,” she explained. “When I went back after having Forest I was like, ‘Oh my God, this is so exciting!’ I hadn’t hung out with adults in forever.”
This time around, she plans to dial down the excitement, but fans can expect something major for Theresa McQueen when she re-enters the scene.
