Bruno Tonioli has officially quit his role as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent, just two years after joining the ITV talent show. The reason? A classic celebrity problem — too many shows, too little time.
According to insiders, the 69-year-old Italian choreographer and TV personality had to step down due to an intense scheduling clash with his long-running gig on Dancing With The Stars in the US.
A source told The Sun:
“Bruno has officially quit Britain’s Got Talent and they are hoping that KSI will replace him.”
While fans loved his lively energy and flamboyant flair alongside Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, and Amanda Holden, the logistics of filming two major shows across the Atlantic finally caught up with him.
“There is no bad blood and Bruno is leaving with a smile on his face,” the insider added.
Interestingly, YouTuber-turned-entertainer KSI — who previously filled in for Bruno during a brief absence — is now in talks to take the seat permanently.
Earlier reports had hinted at this possible departure, revealing that Dancing With The Stars and BGT would overlap for two critical weeks in 2026, making it nearly impossible for Bruno to appear in half the season.
Though fans may be sad to see him go, there’s still hope that the next season of BGT will keep its sparkle — especially with a potential wildcard like KSI ready to bring a fresh vibe to the panel.
