Nigerian midfield star Alex Iwobi has revealed that he’s been officially barred by Fulham FC from posting behind-the-scenes (BTS) content on social media — and fans aren’t happy about it.
For those who have missed his fun Snapchat updates from the dressing room, the mystery is finally solved. Iwobi, who’s always been a fan-favorite for his candid clips, especially during his time at Everton, announced that the Fulham media team has cracked down on his content.
In a Snapchat post, the 29-year-old shared:
“For those that are wondering why I haven’t been snapping BTS in the changing room, one person in the media team has been saying I haven’t been catching the right stuff.
So, there’s no more BTS. They also said I might get fined if I continue to do so—they’re trying to ban Snap in our changing room.”
While fans loved the sneak peeks into life at Fulham, Iwobi is now forced to hit pause — at least for now.
“It’s a shame. I know you guys enjoy seeing what my teammates are like behind the scenes, but I have to respect the rules.”
Luckily, there’s some good news for those who love Iwobi’s Snapchat updates — he hinted that behind-the-scenes content will return on September 1st when he links up with the Super Eagles for national duty.
Until then, fans will have to be content with his on-pitch magic — no more locker room laughs or banter with teammates. Rules are rules, but Iwobi’s charm definitely belongs on and off the pitch!
