Chelsea Lovelace, a former girlfriend of hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, has come forward publicly in the sexual assault lawsuit she filed against the music executive last year. Initially filed under the name Jane Doe in September 2024, Lovelace has now revealed her identity, telling Rolling Stone that stepping into the light is part of her healing journey.

This is about dignity. This is about accountability

Lovelace declared in her statement.

In her emotional revelation, Lovelace described how a relationship she once believed was rooted in love and loyalty turned into a nightmare of manipulation, abuse, and control.

I was not seen as a person with a soul, but as a pawn in a much larger game

she said

Allegations Against Diddy

Lovelace’s updated complaint includes serious accusations against Combs:

  • That he drugged and sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions.
  • That he forced her into “freak-offs” (group sexual activities), and gave her ketamine and Ecstasy.
  • That he recorded their sexual encounters without her consent.
  • That she would black out and wake up with bruises or bite marks, with no memory of what happened.

She also described coercive behavior, claiming that Combs pressured her not to work and drugged her during a final visit to his Miami home in July 2024.

I was in and out [of consciousness] that night… I’m just gonna say yes so he leaves me alone, and I’m never coming back

Lovelace recalled.

Diddy Responds

Diddy’s legal team has firmly denied all allegations, stating:

“No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex-trafficked anyone.”

Seeking Justice

Lovelace emphasized that her decision to go public is not about vengeance, but about standing in her truth and finding peace.

“Filing this lawsuit—first as Jane Doe, and now as myself—is not an act of revenge. It is an act of release. Of choosing healing over hiding.”

She is currently seeking compensatory damages and attorney’s fees in the ongoing legal proceedings.

The case adds to a growing list of legal troubles for Diddy, who is facing mounting public scrutiny and multiple lawsuits linked to alleged misconduct.
