Brad Pitt is opening up about the lessons he’s learned through life’s challenges — including his highly publicized split from Angelina Jolie.
Speaking at the F1 film premiere in Mexico City on June 9, the Hollywood icon took a moment to reflect on how his mindset has evolved with age. In a chat with Entertainment Tonight, Pitt shared,
“No matter the mistake, you know, you just learn from it and move on. It’ll lead to the next success.”
The Oscar-winning actor, now 60, emphasized the value of surrounding himself with people who matter most:
“Really, I think you get to my age and see how important it is to surround yourself with the people you know, the people you love, the people that love you back. Friends, family, and that’s it.”
This heartfelt moment comes as Pitt’s long-running divorce with Angelina Jolie continues to draw headlines. Though the couple was declared legally single in 2019, their divorce was only finalized in December 2024. They share six children together.
In a previous GQ interview from May, Pitt described his current lifestyle as “contained” and “secure.” He acknowledged the constant media attention his personal life attracts, stating,
“Or some version of my personal life, let’s put it that way.”
When asked if filming his new Formula 1 action movie served as a form of escape from the spotlight, Pitt disagreed.
“It’s been an annoyance I’ve had to always deal with in different degrees, large and small, as I do the things I really want to do,” he said. “So, it’s always been this kind of nagging time suck or waste of time, if you let it be that. Mostly, I feel pretty.”
Despite the media frenzy, Pitt seems to have found renewed peace — both personally and romantically. He is currently in a relationship with Ines de Ramon, a jewelry designer, and the two have been dating since late 2022.
