Kody Brown: Ready to Reconnect with Kids—But Only If They Accept Robyn

Drama continues to unfold in the world of Sister Wives, as Kody Brown, 55, revealed he’s open to mending fences with his estranged children—on one condition. In a candid moment during the January 12 episode, Kody made it clear that any reconciliation hinges on their full acceptance of his relationship with his fourth and only remaining wife, Robyn Brown.

“My children will always be my children,” Kody stated. “The door will always be open to them. But they’ve got to come through that door.” However, he emphasized that he’s unwilling to compromise what he shares with Robyn for the sake of rebuilding those bonds. “I’m going to hold out a hand for them, but I’m also holding this hand next to me, and I won’t let go of that hand,” he said firmly.

Robyn, who has been branded an “outcast” within the Brown family, admitted to feeling excluded and hurt—especially after being snubbed from Christine Brown’s wedding to David Woolley. “It didn’t surprise me that we weren’t invited. We’re the outcasts. We’ve been voted off the island,” Robyn said, clearly stung by the family dynamics.

Kody doubled down on his support for Robyn, stating, “You’re not going to separate us. They want their dad, but they don’t want Robyn. That’s not going to work. Robyn and I are in this together.”

But Kody’s kids see things differently. Son Gabe Brown shared his blunt take on the fractured family relationships during an earlier episode. He called for Kody to “take accountability” for the estrangement, warning, “If he doesn’t change, then I just won’t ever see him again. And I’m perfectly OK with that.”

Gabe also didn’t hold back when discussing Robyn, accusing her of having a “victim complex” and suggesting their relationship was beyond repair. “If she actually believes we mistreated her or her kids when she was constantly being favored by dad, then there’s no chance of me ever having a relationship with her,” Gabe declared.

For now, it seems the Brown family’s path to healing remains as tangled as ever. Sister Wives fans can catch all the drama as it unfolds every Sunday at 10 p.m. ET/PT on TLC, with episodes also streaming on Max and Discovery+.
